JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking an experienced Medical Coding leader to join our team in Chennai as Lead Director. The ideal candidate will have 18 years or more of experience in Medical Coding service delivery to US clientele, of which at least 5 years should be in a relevant leadership position responsible for service delivery management, transitions, account P&L and business outcomes. The position will report to the Vice President of Coding Operations.
JOB LOCATION: CHENNAI, INDIA
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations and ensure seamless service delivery for assigned client accounts within the Medical Coding domain
Provide direction and strategic guidance to achieve outstanding service delivery and continuous improvement
Lead new client transitions in the Medical Coding domain, ensuring smooth implementation and alignment with client requirements
Foster effective operational governance, data management practices, and collaboration among diverse internal and external stakeholders
Actively engage in client interactions, resolving conflicts, and maintaining strong client relationships
Manage financial operations, including revenue and cost analysis, strategic workforce planning, and P&L (Profit and Loss) management
Job requirements:
Available to work full-time from our delivery center in Chennai and manage team members across multiple shifts
Proficient in high-level coding specifics and updated on evolving industry standard
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational abilities
Qualifications:
17+ years of specialized experience in hospital coding, including at least 5 years in a relevant leadership role
Valid coding certification from either AAPC or AHIMA
Preference will be given to candidates with a valid B1/B2 visa and proven experience in onsite client engagement
Demonstrated leadership acumen in managing teams of 500 to 600 or more
